John Letkeman - my maternal grandfather - immigration information

 The details for grandpa's immigration are scant:

He sailed on the SS Montclare arriving on August 8, 1924, or in 1926.  

I have checked the records of the SS Montclare and there wasn't a boat arriving in Canada on August 8 in either year.  Hopefully I'll be able to find details while on the trip.
